Chill Group is excited to introduce our new client portal. This portal is an online management system that allows you to easily and safely send, receive and store all of your accounting and tax information. What does this mean for you?

Our new client portal makes it easy for you to review and approve your accounting and tax information with the click of a button. It also allows you to view, interact with, and respond to document or information requests that we’ve sent you.

Why are we doing this?

There are multiple reasons.

  • It’s secure – facilitates secure transfer of documents and confidential information
  • It’s efficient – interactive checklists and all requests and documentation in one place
  • It’s simple – can be used on any computer or mobile device with just a few clicks
  • It’s flexible – can make comments and ask questions directly in the portal
  • It’s fast – both you and us are immediately notified when any new activity happens and can take action quickly
  • It’s awesome – we believe it will be a game changer for our unwavering commitment of creating the ultimate client experience!

What will the client portal allow me to do?

  • Review TasksYou will receive an email with your tasks. Click on ‘manage checklist’ to access the tasks you need to complete.
  • Comment, ask questions and upload filesYou’ll be able to comment, ask questions and upload files on each of the tasks, which we are immediately notified of and can take action.
  • Log in to the Client PortalBy logging in, you’ll have access to all your open and closed requests, including current client requests that haven’t been completed. You’ll also have copies of documents you have uploaded, so you can keep track and easily find what’s been sent.

Update – June 2025

A few people have reached out to let us know that they haven’t received emails from us within these first few months on Karbon. Below are some different examples of how you could find our emails on some platforms:

Gmail

  • Open Gmail in a browser window

  • In the left menu where your folders show, click ‘More’

  • Click on the ‘Spam’ folder

  • Open the Client Request email

  • At the top, click ‘Not spam’

  • To whitelist the sender click on the gear icon and then ‘See all Settings’

  • Select ‘Filters and blocked addresses’

  • Scroll past all your existing filters and click ‘Create a new filter’

  • Add the sender email address in the ‘From’ field and click ‘Create filter’

  • Then tick the ‘Never send to spam’ box and click ‘Create filter’

Office 365

  • Open Office 365 in a browser window

  • Open your Junk Email folder and select the Client Request email you want to keep

  • Select the ‘It’s not junk’ link at the top

  • Go to Mail Flow, Rules, and Bypass spam filtering

  • Enter the senders domain

  • Click ‘The senders domain is’ in ‘Apply this rule if’ field

  • Add ‘Set the spam confidence level (SCL) to Bypass spam filtering’ in the ‘Do the following’ field

  • Click save

 

Exchange

  • Open Exchange in a browser window

  • Click on your ‘Display name’ and then find the ‘Junk Email’ folder

  • Find the email and click on the Client Request email and then mark it as ‘Not Spam’

  • Open your Exchange Online admin center

  • Go to Mail Flow, Rules, and Bypass spam filtering

  • Enter the senders domain

  • Click ‘The senders domain is’ in ‘Apply this rule if’ field

  • Add ‘Set the spam confidence level (SCL) to Bypass spam filtering’ in the ‘Do the following’ field

  • Click save
